Decorative Concrete Patio Make-Over!

Check out this small patio make-over that we did in Canton, GA…

We took this small “builder” patio and added more concrete to it.  The existing pad was drilled and doweled with rebar to ensure the old slap and the new concrete were connected properly.  The new concrete add-on cement had fiber mesh added to the mix to ensure proper strength.  Post footings and bolt anchors were also installed for future patio cover.

We then waited for the new concrete to cure completely and then filled existing cracks in the old slab and resurfaced the entire area.  That cured within 30 minutes and we were then able to apply filament tape to create the faux grout lines and then applied color enhanced cement and polymer resurfacing overlay material.
